I'm back (and booking fall/winter travel)
FROM MY DESK
Hello Red Tail Travelers,
I'm back from maternity leave and settling into life with two under two. It's been a whirlwind, but I'm excited to be planning trips again.
While I've been away, some of my clients traveled to Ireland, explored the Paris, the Amalfi Coast, and more. They sent me photos that reminded me why I love this work.
I'm currently booking European itineraries and milestone trips for fall 2026 and beyond. If you've been thinking about planning something, now's a good time to reach out.

Hey there,
You’re reading Field Notes from Red Tail Travel — a mix of client stories, travel tips, personal reflections, and updates from behind the scenes. It’s where I share what’s inspiring me, what I’m learning, and the moments that make travel feel meaningful.
Let’s dive in.

WHERE MY CLIENTS HAVE BEEN
While I was on leave, two of my clients renewed their vows in Ireland.
They celebrated 25 years of marriage at Glenlo Abbey Castle, stayed at Ballynahinch on the coast, drove through Connemara and more.
Here's what they said when they got back:
"Ballynahinch was so incredible. I could not even begin to explain the breathtaking grounds the castle was on. Our vow renewal at Glenlo Abbey we will never forget. You gave above-5-star service and unreasonable hospitality. You captured everything we discussed. This was truly memorable and a once-in-a-lifetime trip."
These milestone vacations are the types of trips I want to keep planning.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
European Entry Requirements Update
A couple things have changed if you're heading to Europe:
EES launched in April. No more passport stamps. Now it's fingerprints and a facial scan at border control. Your first time through may take longer, but after that you're in the system and will ultimately save time.
ETIAS is coming in Q4 2026. Once it's live, you'll need to apply online before your trip. It takes about 10 minutes and costs around €7. It’s similar to the Canada eTA if you’ve ever completed that.
None of this affects where you can go or how long you can stay. Just a bit more paperwork before you leave.
If you're booking travel for late 2026 or 2027, I'll walk you through it when we're planning.
If Europe is on your list for 2026…
and you want help shaping your itinerary and pacing, I’d love to help you think through it.
